Upper Thomson

Upper Thomson (or simply known as Thomson) is a district in Singapore. It is situated between MacRitchie Nature Reserve and Bishan Park. It consists of both residential and industrial area.〔 Singapore's biggest Mahayana Buddhist temple, Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery, is located in Upper Thomson.
Residential homes includes a mixture of landed properties, condominiums and Housing Development Board (HDB) blocks. Ai Tong School is situated in Upper Thomson.
==Etymology==
''Upper Thomson'' was named after its namesake road, Thomson Road.
